About the role

A hands-on, analytically rigorous leader to build and lead an integrated marketing function across a portfolio of established fundraising platforms — bringing several marketing teams together, establishing a disciplined measurement system, and creating repeatable growth strategies across the portfolio. This is a builder role for a player-coach who can set strategy, work directly in the details, and move quickly, partnering closely with executive leadership and using AI to improve marketing workflows.

Key responsibilities

  • Own growth marketing strategy and execution across a portfolio of fundraising technology brands.
  • Consolidate separate marketing teams into one coordinated function with clear roles, priorities, processes, and accountability.
  • Manage and optimize multiple channels: SEO, paid search, paid social, organic social, lifecycle marketing, referral, reactivation, and cross-selling.
  • Own full-funnel performance and the marketing P&L, including CAC, marginal CAC, conversion, retention, payback, and ROI.
  • Build an effective attribution and reporting system using customer, transaction, and historical event data.
  • Design and evaluate experiments using holdout tests, causal inference, and statistical significance.
  • Identify and expand growth loops across referrals, word of mouth, reactivation, retention, and cross-brand relationships.
  • Use AI to improve creative production, campaign copy, audience development, reporting, analysis, and testing.
  • Lead and develop a small marketing team while remaining directly involved in execution and analysis.
  • Create a repeatable marketing integration model that can support future acquisitions and additional brands.
  • Present performance results, insights, and investment recommendations to executive leadership.

Required qualifications

  • 3 to 10 years of progressive experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success managing and testing multiple channels: SEO, paid advertising, organic content, social, email, and lifecycle marketing.
  • Experience owning marketing analytics and full-funnel economics, including CAC and marginal CAC analysis.
  • Advanced understanding of experimentation and measurement, including holdout testing, causal inference, and statistical significance.
  • Proven ability to build or optimize referral, reactivation, retention, or cross-selling programs.
  • Willingness and ability to execute directly while leading others.
  • Ability to move quickly, exercise sound judgment, and succeed in a high-accountability environment.
  • Understanding of the U.S. elementary and middle school market.
  • Must be based and authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience marketing to K-12 schools, PTAs, PTOs, educators, administrators, or other education buyers.
  • Experience managing, or readiness to manage, a marketing team of approximately three to five people.
  • Experience consolidating or restructuring a marketing organization, ideally in a multi-brand, acquisition, or post-merger environment.
  • Practical experience integrating AI tools into marketing workflows and measuring their impact.
  • Experience with HubSpot, Google Analytics, business intelligence tools, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and Instagram Ads.

Why join

  • Lead marketing across a portfolio of established fundraising technology brands.
  • Build the team structure, systems, technology, measurement approach, and growth strategy with direct executive support.
  • Activate a substantial base of historical customer, transaction, and event data.
  • Improve and expand an already successful referral-driven growth model.
  • Join a company with consistent organic growth and an active acquisition strategy.
  • Work with the speed and autonomy of a startup alongside the stability of an established, revenue-generating business.
  • Support a mission centered on helping schools and nonprofits raise more money for their communities.
